Two new functionality upgrades for a new school year!

Upgrade 1: Teachers can now save their work on digital resources in Carolina Science Online!

Now you can open a resource, such as an Interactive Whiteboard Activity, add information, and save it with a unique name like Section A. This is called a “Save State.” Then when you want to access it again, all your information will have been saved! Watch this quick video to see “Save State” in action.

Upgrade 2: Resources now open in their own tab!

Resources opening in multiple tabs allows you to open the different resources you want to use and toggle back and forth between tabs as needed. This simple upgrade is sure to enhance the ease of use for digital resources.

Building Blocks of Science® life science, physical science, and earth science unit overview videos are now available on CarolinaScienceOnline.
To access, login to your CarolinaScienceOnline account
Follow these steps to navigate to the Unit Overview Video:
1. Select the unit you would like to see
2. Select the Unit Resources tab–>Digital Resources tab
3. Using the Categories filter, select Professional Learning
4. Unit Overview videos are one of five Professional Learning resources available to you on CarolinaScienceOnline. Click the play icon to get started.
- Printed card sets have been digitized and can be found by going to a unit’s Digital Resources tab and selecting “Card Set” under the Categories filter.
- Share to Google® is now available for all student resources.
